The Billfish
8th Annual Fishin' Blues Tournament
This 5-day trip features 3 days of amazing sailfish and marlin angling competition (Day 4 is your choice or more fishin' or touring). The billfishing is all catch and release with circle hooks to keep the fish happy and healthy. During this season, 80-100 lb sailfish are plentiful with boats averaging 20-40 bites per day. As an average, while targeting sailfish every Casa Vieja boat will encounter a marlin every third day during the year. These waters are also home to yellow fin tuna and 20-40 lb dorado.
Prizes are awarded for Sportsmanship, Most Sailfish and Biggest Fish. We will fish 2-4 anglers to each expertly captained 37-43 ft. boat, all tackle and fishing gear provided. All captains are fluent in English. Check out the fleet and the fishing reports.
